my last day with Rep-Am

Today is my last day of this 10-week summer internship with the Waterbury Republican-American
except the weather and humid, it has been a fantastic summer for me, I learned a lot not only about journalism but also everything about life
especially two days ago when I heard my rodeo school story has been picked up by AP and featured on Sunday advanced story

here are a few pictures of the newspaper building and the tower which is the tallest in New England area

Thank you Connecticut and all the newsroom people at Rep-Am!

I will be leaving here next week and enjoying my real summer vacation.
Adventure continues...

Today, I waited from 11:30am to 3:30pm for shooting this event. and here is the picture,

Memorial Day

I worked on Memorial Day, took a lot of parade photos. This is my favorite of today.
Jason Turner and his two-year-old son Maty Turner were watching the parade in downtown Torrington,CT. The boy had no interest in the parade, he kept turning around and looking at all the toys in the closed toy store behind.

It's two days away from June 1. In China, June 1 is a holiday for all the kids, we call it Children's Day. I remember when I was a kid, Dad always gave me ¥5 to buy toys and I always get a different military ship or jet.

well,
Happy Children's Day!
even if you are not a child any more
